New iM3 Control Cut Rotary Flex instruments are made from heat-treated nickel titanium (Ni-Ti) giving them even greater flexibility than the original iM3 Control Cut files. Thanks to the use of new heat-treated materials, the iM3 Control Cut Rotary Files now possess a controlled memory that enables them to be pre-bent. This feature facilitates their ability to navigate curved canals with greater ease, allowing for confident straight-line or fracture point access, without the risk of breakage or binding. iM3 Control Cut Rotary Files are designed to work in a reciprocating movement but can also work in a forward-only motion on larger canals to increase speed of treatment. The advanced design of the files reduces the risk of removing excess dentine and weakening the tooth.
